How to warm up your email account before you start sending cold emails
If you have recently purchased a new domain to use with Octobox then you will need to warm up your email IP before you start sending.
Once you have purchased a domain and set up an email account associated with it, you should wait at least 2-3 weeks before sending higher quantities of cold email It’s best to start warming up your new email account by sending some emails back and forth within your organisation for a day or two. Once you have completed this step you can start a small campaign with Octobox, limit your email account to send a maximum of 15 -20 emails per day with a minimum delay of 500 seconds between emails and a maximum of 600 seconds.
After the first 3-4 days start increasing your emails by 100% every 3 days and start decreasing your delay between emails by 100 seconds every 3 days (we do not recommend you decrease the limit below 100 seconds).
Ensure you check your DNS records, we have included a link to DNS Lookup, a free online checker https://dnschecker.org/all-dns-records-of-domain.php
It is recommend that you ensure you have the following records set up correctly SPF, DMARC, DKIM.
